Katherine was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She attended public schools from early childhood through high school, graduating from Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge. After high school, Katherine attended Louisiana State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal, Dairy & Poultry Sciences in 2016. In 2019, she received her Juris Doctor and Diploma in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. While at LSU Law, Katherine earned two CALI Awards of Excellence in Legal Research & Writing and Disability Law. She also served as an LSU Law Ambassador and President of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. Katherine joined Veron Bice, LLC in 2021.
Prior to joining Veron Bice, LLC, Katherine worked as a real estate associate attorney in Lake Charles. She also gained experience in successions and estate planning, including representing clients in contested successions.
Outside of the office, Katherine serves on the Southwest Louisiana Young Lawyers Section Board and on the Oasis: A Safe Haven for Survivors of Domestic & Sexual Violence Board. She is also a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association.
